Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Finixr is a product of Albusi GmbH, a company registered in Switzerland (UID 020.4.078.165-9), with registered offices at Witikonerstrasse 487, 8053 Zurich, Switzerland. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Albusi GmbH.

2. What data we collect
When you use Finixr, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, and company name (provided during sign-up or via Google Sign-In)
- Email content you send to your Finixr workspace address
- Files and documents you upload as training data or attach to emails
- Spreadsheet financial models you upload for audit, including their formulas, values, sheet structure and any text they contain
- Documents generated by Finixr on your behalf
- Usage logs and metadata (timestamps, request types, generated file names)
- Billing information processed by Stripe (we do not store raw card data — Stripe handles this)
- IP addresses and basic browser information for security and abuse prevention
3. How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide and operate the Finixr service
- Process your email briefs and generate documents
- Manage your workspace, team members, and generated files
- Process subscription payments and send billing receipts
- Contact you about your account, billing, or service updates
- Investigate abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service
- Improve the quality and reliability of the service
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit written consent.
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR / nDSG)
For users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the service you have subscribed to
- Legitimate interest — security, fraud prevention, service improvement
- Legal obligation — compliance with Swiss and EU law, including tax record-keeping
- Consent — where explicitly requested (e.g. marketing communications)
5. Third-party services
Finixr relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each sub-processor handles data in accordance with its own privacy policy and, where applicable, a data processing agreement with Albusi GmbH:
- Anthropic (Claude) — processes your email content, uploaded documents, and uploaded financial models
- OpenAI — processes uploaded financial models as one of the three independent auditors in a paid model audit
- Google (Gemini API) — processes uploaded financial models for the free scan and as one of the three auditors in a paid model audit
- Stripe — processes subscription payments and stores billing information. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and operates under its own privacy policy
- Google Firebase / Firestore — stores account data, workspace settings, and generated files
- Mailgun — processes inbound and outbound email on behalf of your workspace
- Google Cloud Run — hosts the Finixr backend infrastructure
6. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days to allow for account recovery, after which it is deleted. Billing records are retained for 10 years as required by Swiss tax law.
You may request immediate deletion of your content and account data at any time by contacting business@alanany.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
Uploaded financial models are deleted within 24 hours. A workbook you upload for audit is held only long enough to run the scan and, if you buy one, the full audit on the same file without asking you to upload it twice. It is deleted within 24 hours of upload whatever happens, and sooner once the audit that needed it has finished. The resulting report is kept in your account until you delete it or delete your account.
Uploaded models are never used to train anything, by us or, under our agreements, by the AI providers listed in section 5.
7. International data transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside Switzerland and the EEA (including the United States, where our sub-processors operate). Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognized under Swiss and EU data protection law.
8. Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG) and the GDPR (where applicable), you have the right to:
- Access your personal data and receive a copy
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)
- Lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland, or your local supervisory authority in the EEA

9. Security
We apply industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, Firebase security rules, and restricted API access. We conduct periodic access reviews and promptly revoke credentials that are no longer needed. No system is completely secure — if you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately.
10. Cookies
Our landing page and web application may use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics cookies in future, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
